In my opinion, Akam employees are all full of crap. They are bunch of arrogant people with no sympathy for humans. They email each other from across the room even to take a dump. Lol
They think because they work for corporate they are better then anyone else. They have no personality and all they are is an ID.#

People are getting distracted arguing about Carl and Doris from the fact that these board members are about to leverage the buildings for multiple millions of dollars, without so much as a budget, an explanation of who will be paying the massive legal bills they rung up and how they went from claiming imminent bankruptcy before the election to suddenly the building having untapped equity. Not to mention the serious issues with possible discrimination lawsuits and forcing people to use Zarina for real estate transactions.

Guys and why are we giving so much attention to Mrs. Zarina, there is nothing to fear from her, she does things but it only works temporary and she loses, in fact we should pity people who are like her, she ran the show in summer at the parks and got her signatures, whose fault is this? share holders! Chandra wasn’t fighting hard enough for us seems like he wanted to quit anyways.

I think Carl’s mom or David are writing stuff on the site, as we can see in the comments below. Anyone who called the office in the last month was either told Doris will call them back or to email Akam. Some people are still unable to pay maintenance or to have improper late fees fixed for 3 months now.

For April 7 comment at 1:48pm: in response to your comment regarding more things getting done, those 2 new secretaries have no idea what they are doing and are not familiar with share holders that were living here for many plus years. I don’t see things getting done done for better. Number two they need more training as a new staff to get familiar with everything and guess what there’s none of that Becuase the new board wanted to be bullies rather than come to an agreement with Chandra. A smooth transition would have been a better idea. But in the end I do feel that some monkey busks was going on and I don’t see new board sueing Chandra, so maybe they threatened him with Russian Mafia and got scared and ran away! That must’ve been the deal! Doris knows more than anyone else and they were all stressing her out if anything. Anyways, regarding the rest of the workers they were sellouts of Chandra first sucking up to the new management and kissing ass, little did they know it would backfire on them! If one goes, everyone goes no ass kisssing and betrayal will save you!

We love our maintenance staff and they really work hard to make our coop the best place to live in. Right now our coop look much cleaner and better organized. We don’t want to have our maintenance guys to work at night for 3 days(when they hardly get calls and sleep while getting paid) and then to be off next 5 days and get paid again to work somewhere else. Right now they all work day time like most of us do. But those supers who resides in coop for free can rotate or even be on call at night to get emergency calls which are rarely happen. That’s the purpose for them to reside here for free. No? Also, we need a supervisor for a day time. And that’s Scot is doing and it doesn’t matter if he is a gay or not. As long as the work is done. Are you against gay people? Mhm. We had supervisor before who was Chandra’s puppet. So why not to have supervisor now who doesn’t do any favors for anyone? But if he does something wrong step out , say it. Let us or union to know.
Yes, we had changes and some people don’t like changes. If maintenance guys don’t like what’s going on, please complain to your union. You have very strong union who should stay for you. But I’m sure that for those who work hard it doesn’t really matter. Yes, new boss, new policy. But that’s what happens everywhere. In the end, if you are hard worker you will be good everywhere, no matter what.

I ran into Doris the other day and I never seen her so happy. She looked peaceful, relaxed and told me she was so thankful that the lord finally answered her prayers. She said she never In her life ever experienced such a toxic crazy environment like she did the few months she worked with them crazy board members and that hyper crazy Manager that can’t keep it together. He needs Scott the wannabe to be his brain. They are both bunch of idiots. Scott wanted that spot light a long time ago. Lol he can enjoy it while it last. Lol poor Scott, one miserable unhappy man. Bitter and so unhappy with his life. His only satisfaction is humiliating other people to feel better about him self. That’s speaks very highly of him. Any person that has to hurt others to feel powerful is a very weak individual. Prayers for Scott.!!!

I love Doris. But hey, sorry to say that, It’s much calmer now in the office. Go look yourself. Any time you call now you can get an answer, not like before. I called with my problem and there was not like”i don’t know ” or “not sure”, or “will call you back” and nothing happens. All my questions were answered in a proper manner, was even given an advise which I used and the work is done in 15 minutes. How come it didn’t happen before? Doris was going to Chandra with every little question and it was working for both of them. Chandra wanted to feel himself like he is a God and nobody can survive without him. He has mental issues and need to get a serious treatment. Doris is nice, but right now we are in a computer Era and we have a site for complains and work orders which can be tracked by anyone(that what Doris was doing). So we need someone in the office who is able to operate the computer well. That’s all. Everything changes. So we should be open for changes and see if those changes will work for us.

Thank you for accepting our invitation to visit this website. Rather than scroll through our many posted complaints, I will ask that you scroll to comments of April 5th between the hours of 9:01am to 1:45pm describing how shareholders relate to the current maintenance staff.
As was expressed in our letter to your office, their contract expires April 20th and our belief is that this new (and despised) Board of Directors wants to replace our predominantly bi-lingual Hispanic maintenance staff with people who speak another language that is favorable to the current Board.
Following our staff around with a camera, recording every move, can be seen as nothing less than intentional harassment.

Why are they lying to people.??
people are coming to the office asking for Doris and they are telling them she is off.
why don’t you tell them she was fire for not doing her job. LolLet’s set the record straight – Doris was fired most likely because the Board didn’t want an honest person to see what the Board and Akam were doing behind closed doors. Additionally, the inept management office wanted her to do the manager’s job as well as her own job – which is not what she was hired for. Doris gave 20 years to this co-op and was deemed “essential” to the new Board and management – “by the co-op attorney’s own words at the December meeting” – because of Doris’ years of experience in tending to the needs of the shareholders and working with, and scheduling, the daily activities of the maintenance staff.
Of course, some people in that office were childishly jealous of the shareholders and staff always turning to Doris for answers so they made up stories to have her fired which we do not fully understand.
The management office is an Akam office and yet the manager was complaining directly to the co-op Board.
Just who does he really work for?… Rose?… Zarina?

Carl should be kicked out as well. He is a liar and a fraud. I tried speaking with him back in Dec when I found out the queen of the mafia was involved. I thought he can help.. he told me he would get back to me and I am still waiting on his reply from Dec. guess he goes by the same type of rules Igor does. A SET OF RULES FOR ALL!!!!

Chandra never took anything from this Co-op.
it was very important for the current attorney to blame him of illegal actions that never happened. She even tried to get the soda vending machine man to testify against Chandra. Lol she wanted something bad on him since there was no true evidence . The owner of the vending machines said hells no. Leave me the hell alone. Lol that man removed his vending machines immediately. He was loyal and honest and was not about to lie.
They can try hard but will never find anyone to come forward since there is nothing on Chandra besides him being very strict and wanting everyone to follow rules.!! -
