Don’t throw out those Amazon paper envelopes. Use them for food scraps compost. After putting in scraps, I roll up the bag and put it in the freezer and when I have more scraps I just put them in with the frozen ones. When there’s enough scraps in the bag just take it from the freezer and toss it in the compost bins outside. I also use the paper Amazon uses for stuffing boxes. I fold it and rip off just the amount of paper I need for peeling potatos and then wrap up the paper with those peelings and stuff it in the freezer bag. Simple!

The main concern for David should be how to fix the broken elevators in 9707. The other day and old lady was having a heart attack and it took 20 minutes for EMS to come upstairs and get her. I smell a big liability because of the faulty actions of the Property Manager Let him find the funds and the means to fix the elevator that has been broken for two months already and such a big apartment unit building to only have one elevator working, which is nearly breaking as well. By the time we became a cooperative we were neighbors. We were friends. We knew each others names. We went to church and synagogue together. Our children played and went to school together and we cared about the future of our community.
But that all changed with the former Board of Directors whose members were predominantly investors. They hid behind closed doors and hired a tyrannical manager to shield them from shareholder inquiries and complaints. Their underlying intent was to intimidate our friends and neighbors to leave our co-op and seek other housing. In addition, the manager and that Board strongly favored the resale of apartments to outside investors because it was the investor’s voted shares, and some collusion, that kept that Board and manager in absolute power
