If you got problems with the board this is a great time to call them out

Like them or socialize???? Heck NO!
I’d say I don’t even like seeing their names on paper – but they never issue anything in writing (because it could incriminate them in the future).

Not miserable- just don’t like to see our money wasted. Do you like any of the board members? Do you want to socialize with them or David?

The person who posted below me sounds miserable

Come for food and drink to form an events committee. Why are we paying for this? Also to hold the meeting at 6PM when people who work may not even be home yet. It will be the same kindergarten teacher who put up the tacky Dollar Tree decorations for Halloween last year.
Why do they think we want events? We all have lives and social lives. If we want to be friendly with our neighbors- we are. We don’t need the board and “events” committee to spend any of our money!!!!

Businesses have a lifespan and those stores had a good run. Other businesses will pop up in response to the shifting demand. Rego Park is the next LIC.

Not surprised about development in the area as much as losing long-time stores. 63rd Road use to have a bakery and a kosher takeout, and now is losing a Chinese takeout, CVS and vegetable store. Also more buildings with more people add to schools and public transportation. That is how we are being affected.

if this board is any indication of the average IQ of park city residents, then you definitely got the board you deserve.

Why are people surprised about all the planned development in the area? This has been going on for years and began in LIC and has spread deeper. Markets go through cycles and in the long-run NYC real estate will do well. I mean haven’t you seen an increase in your property value over the last 10 years? I don’t understand why people are so dumb and talk about dumb sht.

My comment on 1/14 did not apply to the comment on 1/13, but to another comment that was deleted. Still, let’s keep this just about Park City so that it wont attract non-related comments. Thanks.

Instead of answering you since it wont change your misinformation, please let’s keep this site only about Park City. Unrelated comments belong on other sites.

KeymasterDavid Javidan is also Navid Ahadian who lived with his parents in our co-op. There’s no Google search info on “David Javidan” but Navid Ahadian was a jeweler working out of a garage in Long Island and who has arrest records in 3 states for switching license plates on vehicles, and burglary, and assault, and drug possession. No one gets arrested for no reason. Only one charge was a conviction and that was with a 2 year suspended sentence.
WHY DO YOU THINK HE CHANGED HIS NAME?
He is the man backed by Rose Markov and the lawyer Emma to be employed by Akam as our property manager. Like we really needed someone with no property management experience who plays with license plates overseeing the cars in our garages and arrested for burglary in charge of our security.
Could be why he needs to know with all of the cameras when we leave home and when we come back and exactly how many people are in our apartments. Maybe better we should put ROB ME signs on our cars and apartment doors. That is my personal opinion.

Who is David Javidan ?! We are looking for the reason he changed his real name?! ( Navid Ahadian)

This Community Board allows unfettered development with no upgrades to the community at all. They roll over and allow developers whatever they want. The bike lanes have made driving, crossing walking on 63rd and 62nd dangerous. The subway station is overcrowded. There is only one lane off the LIE. David claims he has gone to the Community Board meetings. The Board should go and speak up on our behalf.
Of course they are going to build a building across the street. What else would they do with the property? As for the old Sears property, the Farkas family (Alexander’s) still owns the property. Look how long they held onto the empty lot that fronts onto Horace Harding before they started to build. They will make Marshall’s and Burlington a deal and move them across the street or not renew their leases. That parcel will be able to be developed into a big building or two.
I believe that if they are rentals, we will be able to hold our own on our value. If the Board does not keep wasting money. The new buildings in the neighborhood are asking ridiculous rents.
