No one from Park City put up any money last time. It was all from Zarina using her lawyer and her connections to Akam. She orchestrated the whole take over seeking out disgruntled shareholders. The best case scenario would be a Park City shareholder with a legal connection acting as Zarina did with the promise of getting our business. It’s certainly been lucrative for their lawyer Emma and her law firm.
Ok, so let’s retain an attorney!

The only way you’ll get change is to do what Zarina did: retain a lawyer that wants to have Park City as a client and form a slate of candidates that will go around to collect proxies. Otherwise, nothing will change.
people we need to reach out for help to department that can help with coop investigation, etc, perhaps on the congressman level,
while you chat here and discuss and complain, a lot of bad stuff can happen to park city. We need to start acting ! We need to get together and have a plan

Have you forgotten the unexplained “Special Assessment” in June 2023?
Your maintenance and the Special Assessment cost you two and a half times more than your normal maintenance that month. But some of us are unsure that members of the board and managers family paid it. If your maintenance was $500, you paid $1250 in June.
Even though the treasurers company profited by selling toilet paper and towels to the co-op manager, the board has never issued an annual statement of “conflicts” as stated in BCL 727 and all of you stupid people voted him back to the board this year.

Carl did not want to end up as the fall guy for what’s going to happen
Just noticed the Honest Ballot Certification of election is posted to the lobby bulletin board.
According to Honest Ballot, a Quorum was met with 623 proxies received of the 1,078 proxies allegedly mailed. This year, only 52 proxies were rejected – as opposed to the over 380+ rejected proxies in the last election.
As for the 455 shareholders who apparently did not return their proxy and the many many more who never bothered to show up at the meeting… you sleep in the bed that you made.
Carl Godlewski obtained the greatest number of shareholder votes but Carl withdrew his name and resigned from the co-op board. Some refer to it as his having integrity.
We can only hope that a judge will restore our By Laws (Article 1, Section 1) in accordance with our Certificate of Incorporation and that our 2024 election will be held on the second Tuesday of May – as it has been for each and every year prior to the incumbents of the current board – and that there will be a greater shareholder attendance in the warmer weather.
And the winner of the election was…. APATHY! Look at how few shareholders of the entire coop even bothered showing up for the annual meeting. And as was stated in a previous comment, we don’t know how many people even bothered to vote. As long as Park City shareholders don’t even know the candidates and don’t get involved, nothing will change.

Two Board members were replaced with Esther and Howard. They made Esther the treasurer! God help us!
The election company that was used before the present group took over had the results within 2 days and listed the amounts of votes for each candidate whether they won or not. The names were listed by their total numbers of votes. All we got, or at least all that was posted, from Honest Ballot was the names in no particular of the winners.
As an aside, the only changes to the elevators being made are basically cosmetic. The equipment that was there before is unchanged. What’s that expression about putting lipstick on a pig and its still a pig?
