I will agree with others that it’s horrible that the board would waste money to hire an attorney and file a Cease and Desist order against shareholders using shareholders money. It’s horrible that the board let attorney to be present while board meetings and play a big role in important discussions and get paid for it. It’s horrible that someone who’s not on the board or shareholder in park city 3&4 makes important decisions for the board. Are those people on the board not capable to make their own decisions? What they were fighting for? They nothing better then previous board who was letting Chandra do whatever he wanted to do. Nothing changed from that. Only people changed who do exactly what was done before. Are you people understand what you are doing? Or you don’t have a spine to stay your ground? You became same people who were on the board for last 15 years. Congratulations.

As an owner, I’m pretty upset that the money is wasted on hiring an attorney to issue a cease and desist order. Maybe the board should have clearly represented themselves and not have a non-board member lead the town hall last year.

Just here to support ParkCityOneVoice and the Thoughts section. I think it’s horrible that the board would waste money to hire an attorney and file a Cease and Desist order.
For all shareholders, let’s remember this when we vote for the new board.

Okay IMHO I believe our on site manager , since he lives here might be a good fit. However the hiring process is suspicious and I share your concerns about the new board and this attempt to stifle free speech.

Presumably, the co-op’s lawyer is charging a fee for her cease-and-desist actions. So we, the shareholders, are paying her to censor us.
Isn’t it ironic that this effort to stifle those that disagree with certain co-0op issues or individuals comes at the same time as the stifling of news media by a certain Mr. P. overseas.

Additional comment from Ron.
You cannot “cease and desist” from free speech.
That’s the problem Putin has now.

Ron. Anyhow we can meet to discuss? I cant disclose myself now because of current board activity. But our meeting will be very beneficial for new election.

About the special election status: My cellular died last week. Your participation texts cannot come through until I transfer my data to a new phone.
Because of the Board’s recent action, I will not disclose the shareholder count calling for a special election until I have both – the total count and the names of a new slate of candidates for the next election. I have heard tales of verbal intimidation by the current ‘agents’ and therefore will withhold that information until the last minute. I had hoped to select 3 members of the current Board however, due to circumstances, it will be just 2 members of the existing Board.

Ron,
Will you please update us on the special election status.

We need a healthy mix of board members so the COOP can benefit from their strengths. [In my opinion] we need 4 old board members because they have the EXPERIENCE and WISDOM about this COOP. To balance that out, we need 5 of the current board members.
The main problem (there are several by the way) with the current board is they are inexperienced. As a result, we can see management under-performing and improperly managing resources.
One Voice agrees to the mix of experienced and inexperienced members but we will never support the old Board members holding a majority vote. Further, One Voice prefers all Board members to be factual residents – not investors – not subletters – not brokers. We choose to support shareholders who actually live here and are without a conflict of interest.

The issue right now is not Chandra or any previous Board. That ship has sailed. What we now need to do is select a new competent slate of candidates with no outside ties to run against the present Board. This will enable us to run a campaign aimed directly at the performance of those current members and the current management. The narrower our focus, the better our chances.

- In response to the post @ 5:23 pm on 3/1… I am in no way representing One Voice, however, I would like to give my opinion on chandra. 1. My view of him is that he is an egoistic, wicked, evil, cruel, self centered poor excuse for a human being. 2. As a manager, he lacked empathy and humility, and caused a great deal of pain and suffering to many shareholders, who viewed him as an emotional abuser. 3. The answer is absolutely NOT, emphatically NO, and unequivocally NO way in hell.

3 questions for 1 voice
1 what is their view of Chandra?
2 what is their view on chandra as a manager?
3 would they support bringing him back as manager if given chance

We worked with ParkCity4Change because we wanted the following:
Transparency
(1) What is Z’s interested in this coop if she is not a shareholder?
(2) Why was AKAM chosen long before the new board was assembled?
(3) Why did R shut down the Whatsapp group soon after being elected?
(4) Why did 2 board members quit shortly after being elected?Fairness
(1) Why are some brokers’ applications being rejected while others are fed to management?
(2) Are there personal / professional relationships within the management?Lazy Staff
(1) Why can we no longer drop off our maintenance to the local management office?
(2) Why is it difficult getting staff on the phone when calling the office?
(3) How can you serve on the board if you’re not physically here for meetings?Above are questions circulating the new Whatsapp group.
We want a new board with the interest of shareholders first.

Did you not want this? You have been begging for years for Chandra out. People were giddy when the new board came in, it was a big party? So what happened?
