You would think with all the money being spent on cameras and key fobs that there is a security problem in our buildings. But in all the decades that I’ve lived here, I have never heard about any robberies or break-ins. We do have 24 hour security guards and a previous camera security system that worked fine. The only place where new cameras should be installed is wherever the board members meet so we can watch what they’re doing.

Ron is right about everything I changed my mind about David. They really are stealing the whole world knows Zarina and her schemes I don’t get when she is going to stop. What is the point of the new Fob system. We don’t have enough money for all of this. Please stop stealing by doing all these little projects that are not needed it’s not right.

you do not even have enough of a man to walk across the street yourself ? You got to be more lame than delusional ron
hahahahahhaha
YOU THINK AND ACT JUST LIKE YOU WRITE. YOU ARE AN UNEDUCATED AND IGNORANT DUNCE. SOMEONE CLOSE TO YOU PROBABLY TELLS YOU THAT EVERY MORNING.
EVERY ONE OF US KNOWS WHO YOU ARE AND ALL ABOUT YOUR MANY INABILITIES AND THAT’S WHY EVERYONE WANTS TO GET RID OF YOU. MAY GOD BLESS OUR HOPES. FROM RON

KeymasterFOOLISH SPENDING! The only thing wrong with the not-so-old $86,000 key fob system is that very few people used it.
If your home phone or cellular was registered to the system then your guest, or delivery person, would come in the lobby and pick up the lobby phone; scroll the directory to your name and press the 3-button numbers next to your name. That would connect the lobby phone to your phone and you would answer your home or cellular phone and then press 9 and it would buzz the lobby entrance door to open. And that was only when the security guard was away from their desk. Otherwise, the guard did the look-up and contact with you and they would still ask you to press 9 on your phone to buzz the person in.
As more and more people moved out the fobs were just passed to the next tenant who was never made aware of how the system worked so the fob just became an entrance key passed from one person to the next.
Simply educating shareholders about how the old system worked would have been at no cost to the shareholders. But spend spend spend, they must.

I suspect this is just making noise before announcing a 1.5 million dollar key fob upgrade.

Protect us from terrorst? your nuts Rose. we are more alarmed when we use our fob he and others will know when we leaave our apartment and when we come home, a robbers dream

apartments are excessively hot. they are blasting the heat. Not healthy, not safe.

Does anyone remember how much we paid for each additional fob? I seem to remember that the number of fobs each apartment got was based on the number of rooms in an apartment.

I think it’s good what David is doing he’s protecting us from Hamas terrorists. Believe me he really does not care to track people down.

FYI- I was told they need the numbers on the FOB to keep track. My extra FOB that I paid for has NO numbers on them.
Good luck keeping track of them.

I did not turn in my FOB for another one-it’s software was upgraded for the new security system so that the FOB works. Yes it’s true that we don’t live in Russia but any US citizen that thinks they are not tracked every time they’re online or Internet is accessed is delusional. Tracking software exists to follow your searches for purchase and interests. Running antivirus software never deletes all tracking malware. Since we are all tracked anyway-why is it an issue for coop security? Hopefully coop residents are all law abiding citizens with nothing to hide and too boring to track 🙂 V. Melvin

Did any one ask the mangement company across from 9737 who there lawyer is? You should find out and ask them cfor a consult. That is mybe answer to new lawyer and mangement company for co-op.

Thats right. These people cant take back what was given to you by management for a legitimate elected board of directors.
Some of us paid for extra fobs for family and if this board wants them they can offer to buy them from me. I want $500 for each of my fobs.

KeymasterDO NOT GIVE UP YOUR KEY FOBS!
This is B.S.
When Chandra left he took the master list of key fob numbers assigned to each shareholder so now they have no idea of who is coming and going.
Who is coming and going is none of their business. This is not a Russian country. It is America!
They want you to turn in your key fob so they can register it to your name and so THEY CAN TRACK YOUR MOVEMENTS IN AND OUT OF BUILDING.
It is socialist thinking that if you have two key fobs that you must give back one for them to give to someone else.
DO NOT GIVE THEM ANYTHING!
If we are wrong then we still keep the fobs and use our expensive security people to enter the building.
We ring the bell on the door and security lets us in, The same as is done for delivery people.
IT IS TIME TO STAND UP AND SAY “ENOUGH!
