David painted the catwalk a nasty ugly color that’s already chipping made the catwalk so ugly. He really doesn’t know what he’s doing. Garage door has a renovation everyday. Everyday there’s a new useless project and useless money spending. David you really made the catwalks ugly and he didn’t even finish the rest of the floors. Cheap paint was used made the hallways look like public schools. Useless project and you used paint that is slippery.

A new building across from 9805 (blocking the view); a building coming soon across from  9707 (blocking the view); another building coming up on Junction across from Subway/Municipal Credit Union (blocking whatever view has been left); and now the Wyndham Hotel behind Burger King being converted to a 100 room shelter for homeless men. Aren’t we just the luckiest co-op in Rego Park. Six 1950’s buildings surrounded by modern structures and with no new buyers but hey we’re getting panhandlers.

To the he person in 2/16 have you called the office to report that you don’t have normal water pressure?  That’s the only way it will get resolved and not in this forum.

          Good advice to follow

Sometimes it feels like people resigned themselves to complaining and expecting nothing to ever change

If anything happens call the office AND keep a log of when you called the office and what you discussed if they don’t do their job keep calling and keep logging notes of it eventually you’ll need that paper trail when you escalate

To your post below, I still don’t have normal water pressure so that pipe thing did not change anything, just another excuse to get money and kickbacks on another project. Also he probably took pics of one or two pipes that looked bad and made it into an enormous deal. Next news letter we get it is going to be an explanation on why they needed to spend to much money and again a maintenance increase for that purpose. Board is a bunch of dummies getting elected with false and fake votes.

Did anyone actually READ the email sent about the water shutdown and the work that was performed?  I was actually shocked at the conditions of the galvanized pipes.  Now those 3 buildings have copper pipes.  I can see from the photos shared why we didn’t have water pressure in our buildings.

All laundry’s renovations and “ new elevator” that has more problems than before adm. they prefer ignore all calls from tennants about brown water… they have no credentials, experience or knowledge to administrate a company like PC 3 & 4 Apts. Inc

David is not thinking at all. Turns off the heat on the coldest day of the year. All of a sudden there’s all these projects going on. But first his office was a must to rebuild. That’s where the money went first.

David is a great strategic thinker, by turning off the boilers we can save money when the cost is highest. Plus if a pipe freezes it can be replaced at 5x cost.

They continue to go boiler cleaning in the winter. Serious question-Does anyone remember them cleaning the boilers so many times? Or turning off the water so often?

It’s so cold they turned off the water and heat on the best day of the year. They couldn’t save the pipe cleaning on a better warmer day. Smart move David. Please be wiser next time. This is so  wrong!

If we are going to get all of the Akam information by emails from buildinglink – then why do we need so many workers in the management office?????

And many seniors are not familiar with emails and just use their phones for calling family. Bet we still pay bills for paper that may not have ever got here.

The reason there are so many rumors is because the board and AKAM don’t share information.  We use to get monthly newsletters, have lobby meetings and annual reports.  The lack of information increases rumors true and false since we shareholders are being kept in the dark.  Supposedly the board members meet each week so what are they meeting about?

I haerd of one long-time shareholder who was billed for the inspection. Unsure its true but wouldn’t put it past them to scam the elderly? If true, everyone should know about NY City Department for Aging. Find an office on internet or call 311 to find nearest one.

Akam will do NOTHING due to the fact that they will lose the contract if dave isn’t the manager ! PLAIN and simple
