Hi Ron,
Thank you for helping park city share holders and educating co-op law.
Yesterday meeting was fruitfully, all attended candidates are nice people. I want to share meeting summary who missed to attend meeting.
The ran for BD election because of current BDs are failed to lead our co-op management.
Moreover, they created for their own business and benefit, don’t care about share holders sank in the debt.
I asked to Lalit Khanna ( one of candidate for new BD election) , Do know anyone is real-estate agent in your group?
He said no-one is real estate agent or partners. They ran for park city share holders, they can make promise if they are elected they will clean all COI.
I know Hesham Nouth, he was attended pool deck meeting in last month. He like to check and balance our co-op board.
That is why he just ran as BD candidate for upcoming election.
David Silverman is a experience civil engineer. He had good intention and to do right path for our co-op board.
Adis G. Scelsi and Velarie Melvin are nice ladies, they can lead our-board on right path.
I think every body know about Ron & Louis who always stand in the middle and leading the right path.
Please wait the honest bullet and make sure vote in time. Our future in our hand. Don’t let the dishonest people stepping on our neck.

TONIGHT’S SHAREHOLDER EVENT TO “MEET THE CANDIDATES”.
First of all there was some underhandedness by – in my opinion – the management office. There were notices posted everywhere, in every building, saying there was no 7pm meeting. It is very possible that act of fraud held back many shareholders from attending.
At the meeting, Velarie Melvin, a candidate for the new board, approached “David” and asked why they posted the notices stating that there was no 7pm meeting.
According to Velarie, David said he did not know who did it. So I’m going to give David some help, as follows:
DAVID.
When I came back to 9740 after the meeting – those notices were still on the elevator doors, in the laundry room, and on every wall in between.
I ripped a total of 12 off of the walls and doors. Each was taped to the walls & doors with at least 10 pieces of tape so it was done in no apparent hurry when he/she/they posted them.
So now David, all you have to do is to look at the closed circuit videos that focus on the outer elevator doors, laundry room, and the hall area between them and you will be able to see “with your own eyes” who the responsible person or persons are. I’m pretty sure you’ll recognize them.
In my personal opinion, I don’t believe we can expect too much of David actually doing that.

AS FOR THE MEETING ITSELF, IT WAS NICE TO COME FACE TO FACE WITH THE CANDIDATES AND SOME OF THE SHAREHOLDERS WHO ARE FAMILIAR WITH ONE VOICE’S “THOUGHTS” COLUMN.
SHAREHOLDERS! – BE ADVISED THAT WE ARE LOOKING AT SOME VERY SHARP NEW CANDIDATES. THEY ARE VERY CAPABLE OF MAKING THE CURRENT BOARD LOOK LIKE INEPT PUPPETS… BUT THEN I DIGRESS.
WHILE ALL CANDIDATES WERE INVITED TO ATTEND, ONLY ROSE SHOWED UP – FRANTICALLY JOTTING PERSONAL NOTES. APPARENTLY, CARL ASKED HIS MOTHER TO RECORD THE ENTIRE MEETING SO HE COULD SEE IT AT A LATER TIME. I HOPE IT CAME OUT OK BUT IT LOOKED LIKE HER BATTERY RAN OUT TOWARD THE END OF THE MEETING.
SHAREHOLDERS – IF YOU HAVE ONE IOTA OF CONFIDENCE IN MY PERSONAL THOUGHTS AND OPINION… THEN WE ARE LOOKING AT A NEW, VERY INTELLECTUAL AND PROFICIENT, BOARD OF DIRECTORS FOR 2022-2023.
AMEN.
Note to all commenters – if you want to reply to me personally please feel free to use the association email

The problem is an email was sent out imitating the Park City email address that promoted this event and it confused a lot of people.

They have no morals! use your vote and get them out!

This current management/Board is unscrupulous. Why are they so fearful of new candidates introducing themselves?? We have received text, emails and now fliers throughout the lobbies that there is no meeting tonight! If they go to this extent to prevent a meeting you can imagine what they will do with our Coop. Wake up people!
THERE IS A MEETING TONIGHT AT 7 PM!
PLEASE ATTEND!!Guest
Hope to see you tonight. Flyer invites shareholders to meet the candidates-period. ALL candidates are welcome-up to them. No this is not an “official” Park City meeting-with the notice coming from the office on official letterhead etc. Just us shareholders getting together to exchange ideas and voice concerns. No harm and No crime. See you @7!

KeymasterLee Schiff was the first President of the co-op at inception in 1980. Lee served in that position for about 30 years because he had the full confidence of every shareholder. Lee spoke at each and every meeting and openly informed the shareholders of ongoing projects and their future costs. Lee explained everything in simple terms.
During Lee’s Presidency shareholders were never kept in the dark. We knew about the replacement of our wooden windows to those that we have now and the cost. We knew about structural repairs; removal of asbestos; roof and parapets repairs. We all knew the why’s and the costs – spoken in absolute truth.
In time it was decided for Board Officers to alternate their positions so that each officer would be familiar with the duties of the other officers. For several years Lee retained the position of Treasurer because of his expertise in that area and Lee answered all shareholder questions regarding the Annual Financial Reports.
And in all of those years, the co-op attorney was never required to attend.
Things changed about the time that Chandra became Property Manager. Things were still “good” for a while and then the wrong people were voted into office and Chandra went crazy with power.
We are at about that same point now except it’s the Board crazy with power and a conflicted Management Company.
As far as our elections go – forget about “slates”. You need to READ all of the individual BIO’s and determine which of the 19 candidates are good for the co-op. If you decide you like only five candidates – then just vote for those five.
We cannot vote for more than 9 candidates but we can vote for just one, two, three, four, or the five candidates we do like – or more but not more than nine.
Just be sure to draw a line through the names of the candidates you are not voting for.

Actually besides Kramberg, Bob, Maurice and Lee Schiff spoke up at meetings. Maybe one other and some never spoke.

The culture at Park City really changed if people have to swear on the Bible they aren’t associated with Chandra to even hope for a vote

The only board member who ever spoke is Kramberg. Other than that Chandra ran the meeting

Now they’re sending out emails trying to dissuade people from attending the meet the new candidates night. And they’re trying to remove flyers for the meeting. They wouldn’t have to resort to such tactics if they were doing such a good job. All the more reason to show up tomorrow night.

The old board members spoke at meetings while the present board members were silent (non-speaking puppets) at both the December and July meetings as their chosen lawyer held court. But the old board is gone and new candidates, uncontrolled by Chandra or any real estate agent, are now running. Let’s hear what they have to say at tomorrow night’s meeting. And let’s see if any of the present board members are brave enough to attend without their lawyer pulling the strings.

Shareholders – PLS come to Wednesday’s MEET THE CANDIDATES meeting. This might be the best chance to ask questions, express your concerns and hear ideas especially from the new candidates. As a long time shareholder, I’ve always mailed in proxy votes and never attended vote night meetings. But I have a feeling with 19 candidates running-September 8th will not be the best venue time-wise to get to know a candidate’s views..
Looking forward to meeting everyone Wednesday 🙂

Keymaster“NEW” Candidates for Board of Directors.
Meet them Wednesday August 24th at 7pm in the 62nd street park across from the 9740 building.
Come with your neighbors and all of your shareholder friends who are sick and tired of a lawyer controlling our co-op while Rose’s Board sits like non-speaking puppets.
