          Hi I’d like to add the signal group is very good. The benefit of it is its a way to quickly discuss things with one another and can work in coordination with this page. We already have a group of concerned shareholders here

              Maintenance was increased heavily without  any major building projects, what’s gonna be when we really need one. It appears the manager cannot admit to where he is spending  our money. He hides behind Akam’s name for liability just in case a real investigation for fraud goes down, akam will be the ones who get in trouble which they should indeed as well because they are not taking responsibility in overseeing the manager and his faulty ways

                          Yes, there was a big spike in my electric bill also. I don’t put on lights until the sun goes down and all my appliances are high end energy star purchases, and expensive. Does anyone know if the charges are for actual unit electric usage, or based on some kind of calculation derived from the total electricity used per each building? On a side note, I am amazed to see the very serious financial damage done to the CO-OP by Zarina and Markov, in terms of plunging unit values. Yet all seem to think all we have to do is get rid of the board. Just let them take the money and run. No personal responsibility in civil court, seriously? Even Mohamed has jumped ship and is steering potential buyers away from here citing continuing large maintenance increases, and the large mortgage debt. I guess they screwed him out of commissions as well since they took over.

                              Somewhere in your apartment you have a meter.

                              In some apartments it’s in the upper portion of a closet or just inside the entrance door near the ceiling. It records your electricity usage.

                              Periodically the electric company somehow scans the apartment (like WiFi) and gives the usage for all of the apartments of all 6 buildings to AKAM.  AKAM shows the usage dates for the 30 days and the per hour rate on your maintenance bill to the right of your name and address.

                                  They didn’t start disclosing the KWH until October 2024

                                  Usage Jul/Aug = 0.25898

                                  Usage Aug/Sep = 0.32160  an increase of 6 cents

                                  Usage Sep/Oct = 0.27303

                                  Usage Oct/Nov = 0.25106

                                  Usage Nov/Dec = 0.27903 an increase of 3 cents

                                  Usage Dec/Jan 2025 = 0.35607 an incease of 8 cents SO FAR

                                  I wonder if they are using current rates for previous months usage????
